A good idea for an app would be something that takes your Amazon book Wish List and allows you to compare it to the inventory of any used bookstore you visit to see if they have any of the books you're interested in. Of course the used bookstore would have to have an actual digital inventory of their books which in most cases is not the case... Scrotal Charisma would be a good name for a band... "A fit body, a calm mind, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought - they must be earned." - Naval Ravikant... My guess is that when the NBA's ratings continue to tank you will see the social justice messages disappear on the back of the uniforms and you will suddenly see lots of players doing PSA spots about supporting the police and the military...Heh Heh... How many Boston Bruins fans are calling in sick today?... For everyone excited by the prospect of Kamala Harris debating Mike Pence - they understand that the VP Debate only happens if Joe Biden debates President Trump first right? Team Biden doesn't seem too enthused about that do they?...
Re: used books. Check out abebooks. Sort by total price, including shipping. Responsible for much of my overspending on books in the last three years

ReplyDeleteOften I find myself in a new town and I'm drawn to hiking paths, sports bars, libraries and used book store (that's just who I am). I was thinking that app would be handy when going into a used bookstore you've never visited. Then again part of the charm of used book store is you never know what you'll find. Serendipity.
