Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

The Day the Dinosaurs Died (Long but interesting read)

- Matt Taibbi on former Havard President Larry Summers' comments on the proposed $2,000 stimulus checks.

- 22 quotes from a recent Charlie Munger interview

- Kevin Simler - Ads Don't Work That Way (another long but interesting read)

  1. Matt Taibbi reminds me a little of how P.J. O'Rourke became more conservative. Both write well and are very keen observers of what they write about. Thank you for the link.

  2. I used to dislike Taibbi very much because he I felt he was too left and too unhinged but he has shown that even though he is much more left than me - he adheres to journalistic ethics where he tries to write what he thinks and has evidence to be the truth.

Now Taibbi is much more likely to be attacked from the left than the right (which normally means he's on target).
