Starlink

Elon Musk himself calls SpaceX's Starlink broadband service, "Better than nothing." I would agree but for many living in the most rural of areas the service will literally be a life-saver.

But what do the economics of the service look like? This article does an excellent job of laying out the case for and against:

Starlink has 1 million licenses in the US and they will sell them all without spending a dime on advertising. That to me may be the most amazing thing of all.
