Bill Gates and the "Surplus Population"

"If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future, none other of my race," returned the Ghost, "will find him here. What then? If he be like to die, he had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

Scrooge hung his head to hear his own words quoted by the Spirit, and was overcome with penitence and grief." - Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol

Bill Gates is much worse than Scrooge. Gates too wishes to decrease the surplus population but unlike Scrooge I don't think Gates is capable of penitence or grief. Also Scrooge never racked up frequent flyer miles going to Epstein's Pedo Island multiple times.

Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- VDH on Bill Gates and foreign interference. Gates is on the naughty list.

- Who should regulate content on social media?

- Did President Trump just call for an end to income tax?

- Borepatch on the Ross Ulbricht pardon. I don't know how to feel about the pardon either other than that it was another campaign promise kept.

Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Captain Ed Freeman RIP. Where do we find such men?

- Bernie Sanders now backs equality (opportunity) over equity (outcome). Interesting.

- Arrest warrant issued for Bill Gates in Philippines. Two questions after reading this - is this serious or satire? Secondly - the Philippines must have an extradition treaty with the US as a protectorate right?

- Wow - didn't know this. Johnny Cash was the first American to learn of Joseph Stalin's death.

World Economic Forum Cancels Twitter

World Economic Forum cancels Twitter, directs followers to Chinese social media app.

The WEF may as well be a branch of the CCP at this point. Another reason why TikTok and WeChat should be illegal in the US.

Will be interesting to see if Bill "37 trips to Epstein Island" Gates also deletes his Twitter account. Which would amount to an admission of guilt.

Red Meat is Not a Health Risk

Years of shoddy research have overstated the risk.

The only risk it seems, according to the article, is that too much red meat may push out calories from fresh vegetables. Mankind is supposed to be omnivores and eat both meat and vegetables - but not processed food.

Problem is people like Bill Gates can't make money from non-processed foods. So we get more shoddy research or claims that cows are causing global warming.

Flotsam and Jetsam

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

"Solomon Grundy sober on Monday. Drunk on Tuesday." Hi Solomon... Who knew? Erwin Schrodinger didn't even own a cat... Do Jewish vampires avoid Stars of David the way goy vampires avoid crosses?... Still say that James Joyce's Ulysses should be renamed Fear and Loathing in Dublin... In AC/DC's classic song Whole Lotta Rosie released in 1977 Rosie weighed 19 stone which is 266 pounds. Rosie was probably fairly unique for her weight back then but today - not so much. That isn't progress... Wouldn't Billy Gates Gruff be a good title for the story of Microsoft's rise to power?...

Flotsam and Jetsam

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Curious to see if the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation retains its name after the divorce or if we get a separate  Bill Gates Foundation and Melinda Gates Foundation's going forward. It would be interesting to follow which foundation supports which charities...  Love this photo. In my mind I call it "Meanwhile in Biden's America" or alternatively "The Looming National Debt." Either one fits... Maybe it's still early or could be the pandemic or maybe a major switch to clear carbonated alcohol has significantly impacted the supply of summer shandy beers. I've yet to see a bar or restaurant carrying any and normally by now I'd be swimming in Del's Summer Shandy or Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy... Not for nothing but we still don't know specifically who ordered Gina Carano fired at Disney. That nobody has taken "credit" by now is a real indication that somebody messed up...

More Linky Links

More stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Covid-19 Disrupts Years of Health Progress in US. The deaths per 100,000 people in the US were bad last year - made worse by Democratic Governors killing the elderly in nursing homes with their policies.

- Heh Heh - 'Back in the NY Groove': New ad campaign launched. So that's why I'm suddenly hearing that song after decades. (Thanks Stephen!)

- Glenn Greenwald: Biden, Reversing Trump, Permits a Key Putin Goal. As has been pointed out many places the Biden Administration is now on record as being against a pipeline wanted by Canada that would have created thousands of jobs in the US but is in favor of a pipeline that will help Russia and hurt the US geopolitically.

- Bill Gates hoped Jeffrey Epstein could help him win a Nobel Prize according to report. Bill Gates really doesn't seem to have really good personal judgement. BTW Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.

Flotsam and Jetsam

Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Always thought it was ironic that Teddy Roosevelt is next to Thomas Jefferson on Mount Rushmore. Roosevelt hated Jefferson and thought he was the worst President in US history... No amount of cooling will freeze helium into a solid. And no amount of money or PR will turn Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg into likable human beings... Dan Jenkins' rules for sports writing... The old robber barons at least used to fund institutions of higher learning - think Stanford, Vanderbuilt and CalTech. What are the modern day tech robber barons leaving for future generations?... (Supposedly) the top 25 beaches in the US. Haven't been to Hawaii but have been to 7 of these beaches and I can say for sure #7 isn't even the best beach in New England... Think matching Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Chia Pets would make great Christmas gifts for almost anyone on your naughty and nice list. They already have a Donald Trump version...
