Just an Observation

I was flipping around the channels and I caught former Labor Secretary Robert Reich saying that allegations about Bush "blowing off the last two years of his guard service" (to use Reich's words) did not emanate from the Democratic Party but stemmed from investigations by "respected" news organizations like ABC, the New York Times and the Boston Globe.

Just for the heck of it I did a couple of Google searches:

A search for ABC liberal bias came back with 54,600 matches

A search for New York Times liberal bias came back with 212,000 matches

A search for Boston Globe liberal bias came back with 25,100 matches.

At this point in time - I am embarrassed for any public figure that can't even muster the honesty to admit that certain biases exist in the media. I am embarrassed for Secretary Reich if he thinks that mentioning ABC, the Boston Globe and the New York Times proves that something is the truth and without political tainting. Secretary Reich was smart enough to teach at Harvard - so I must believe that he is smart enough to recognize the bias. The question is - will he at some point be honest enough to admit it exists?
