Seattle Preview

Another excellent preview over at Baseball Primer - this one by Dan Werr on the Mariners.

This observation when discussing the catcher situation made me spit my beer:

"The team also said that if [Ben] Davis does make the roster, he will not be calling pitches. Pitch-calling would instead be the responsibility of a Magic 8-Ball, which would also handle the bulk of the fielding duties."
