Kal-el - Better or Worse than Moonunit?

Nicolas Cage just named his newborn son Kal-el, after the birth name of Superman from DC Comics fame.

Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage is a father again.
His wife, Alice Kim Cage, gave birth Monday to a boy, Kal-el Coppola Cage, in New York City, said Cage's Los Angeles-based publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were available.

Let's face it - Cage is one strange dude but he is likeable. I knew he was related to Francis Ford Coppola (he's his nephew) but I did not know that Cage isn't his real name and that the stage name Cage came from a comic book hero Luke Cage. It should be noted that he gave $1 million to Katrina relief without any fanfare or Sean Penn like stunts (so Nicolas Cage is a bit of a super hero in his own right).
