Oh the Humanity!

ESPN plans to punish baseball fans by having Joe Morgan broadcast both the Dodgers / Mets in the afternoon and then the Tigers / Yankees at night. The mute button for many people will be getting quite a workout.

I really don't understand how broadcasters can continue to trot out Joe Morgan and Tim McCarver when many, many baseball fans literally hate the sound of their voices. Either Al Leiter or Dennis Eckersly doing the color would increase the quality of the broadcast by 1,000%.

I think the same guy who thought ESPN getting into the cell phone business was a good idea is also the guy who thought that having Joe Morgan do both games in New York today.
