Article describes the anger many moms feel toward the officials, elected or otherwise, who abandoned their responsibilities to the children they were supposed to be teaching (and protecting). What will be the actual political fallout be from these angry moms? Hard to say.
I would say that one effect the forced distance learning and the public stances of the teachers unions will be more States giving education funds to parents instead of the schools. Many States have already done so and many more will follow. Those States who don't, because of outsized political pull of the teachers unions, will, I predict, show consistently lower test results than the States who allow some form of school choice.
