- What's next for Red Sox after firing Alex Cora.

- Take the 52-week Black and White film challenge. Seen a number of these films multiple times and some have already been remade in color. Don't think it would work for all films especially comedies but don't be surprised to see some re-makes come out.

Had a sneaking suspicion that the Washington based Marshall was creating the origin of the Washington Redskins. In comparison Marshall's views on race and segregation make later Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey look positively progressive.

This 19th century painting puts the irritating gentleman on a train. The modern irritating gentleman would be a sports talk radio host. And if he was both annoying and irritating he'd be a Boston sports talk radio host the week after the Patriots lost and the Red Sox are in last place.

Ridiculous

Opening a restaurant in Boston takes 92, steps, 22 forms, 17 office visits, and and $5,554 in fees. Killing the American dream.

Not an exaggeration to say that Bob Neumeier may have been my favorite sports broadcaster from my youth. It would also not be an exaggeration to say that Neumy, along with Mike Lynch and Dan Roche were and are among the nicest people in Boston sports. He was one of a kind.

If you think about it, the exclusion of Gary Johnson from the Presidential Debates in 2016 was one of the first red flags that the elites were tilting the playing field in this country... Robert Plant's (Crazy on a) Ship of Fools easily could be the theme song for politics in 2021. "I built this ship it is my making"... Armed Propaganda would be a good name for a band (or new Political Party)... Boston in 1860... Any truth to the rumor that El Chapo will be sponsoring the entire University of  Miami soccer team in an NIL deal? It could be a great way to launder some cash... The NBA's biggest nightmare has to be a PED that makes you grow taller...

A reminder to Celtics fans - two years ago you all were 100% in favor of giving Kemba Walker a 4-year max contract. 100% of you (me included)... Someone should write a satire book Nancy Pelosi and the Echo Chamber of Secrets... The Gnomon (One Who Knows or Examines) would be a good name for a blog... 100% true... Hillary remains the worst possible name for a stripper. Clamidia is a distant second... As an aside - you will find more Aaron Hernandez Patriots jerseys in Boston than Kyrie Irving Celtics jerseys. That's how disliked the guy is in Boston...

Chicago is in big trouble as a city. And underfunded pensions weren't even mentioned. A financial disaster is looming... Wonder when trans-activists will schedule their first JK Rowling book-burning event. You know its coming. And book-burning is always a sign of the most tolerant of folks... This Ben Affleck story is 100% accurate... Ilhan Omar on Tuesday's historic Middle East Peace deals, "Some people did something" (probably)... Judd Apatow on Hollywood "China has bought our silence"... Someday I'd like to compare where Venezuela stood in comparison to other nations based on GDP when Socialists were first elected to office and where it stands now. And then do the same thing for California starting in 2008... 

EDIT: I was only joking about the JK Rowling book-burning but evidently they're already happening.

One probable outcome of the combination of COVID-19 economic effects and Seattle's CHOP debacle is the chances of Seattle getting another NBA team have probably been flushed down the toilet. Any pro sports team expansion is probably not happening now and even if it were why would the NBA go to a city whose existing businesses will soon be fleeing?.. This was no coincidence. "10 states had unemployment rates in May above 15%. They are all states with Democratic governors, with the exception of deep-blue Massachusetts with its liberal Republican governor, Charlie Baker."...  And speaking of Seattle's CHOP - yesterday I saw that both CHOP and Jay Cutler were trending on Twitter. How funny would have been if this was because Jay Cutler was filming a new reality show about him living in the autonomous zone and not giving a shit about anything. They could call it The Ultimate Nihilist... And speaking of protests - how funny would it be if it turns out the attacks on statues in Washington DC and Philly were underwritten by the Boston Chamber of Commerce as a way to increase the value of Boston's Freedom Trail business... Winter in Boston

Norman and his blonde wife live in Boston. One winter morning while listening to the radio, they hear the announcer say, "We are going to have 3 to 4 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even numbered side of the street, so the snowplow can get through." Norman's wife goes out and moves her car. A week later while they are eating breakfast, the radio announcer says, "We are expecting 4 to 5 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd numbered side of the street, so the snowplow can get through." Norman's wife goes out and moves her car again. The next week they are having breakfast again, when the radio announcer says "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park..........." then the electric power goes out. Norman's wife is very upset, and with a worried look on her face she says, "Honey, I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snowplow can get through?" With the love and understanding in his voice like all of us men who are married to Blondes exhibit, Norman says, "Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time?"
