Replacement for Sandra Day O'Connor Decided Upon

According to reliable sources, President Bush has made his decision on who will replace Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. Insiders say that Bush had certain criteria and that the person to be named placed at the top of the wish list of qualifications. It has been widely rumored that Bush wanted either a woman or Hispanic to replace O'Connor and that the judge would also have to be a no nonsense Conservative who believes that "the law is the law" and who is unafraid of standing by a strict reading of the law.

Karl Rove was said to have counseled the President that the nominee would have to be a person who would not wilt under the glare of the TV lights and that the judge would have to be able to put Senators like Ted Kennedy in their proper place if push came to shove. "The public wants a judge who won't take any guff and we think we have the perfect nominee" said Rove.

In a A Large Regular exclusive - it can now be revealed that the new nominee for the Supreme Court is none other than TV's Judge Judy.
