Does anyone remember how before the season started many talking heads were touting Notre Dame as having perhaps the best running back tandem in the country? Now you hear the same people talking about how big a weakness the Irish's offensive line is while never mentioning the running backs. Nobody knows nothing... Still say that Memento Mori would be a great name for a life insurance company... Little known fact but Pittsburgh's "sister city" is Wuhan, China. Just another reason to dislike the Steelers... Tactical Empathy would be a good name for a band of divorced guys who do nothing but cover soft rock love songs while trying to meet women... Fascinated by Phil Steele's college football Vegas Power Rankings. It is very accurate regarding what the game spreads actually are (or could be). For example Cincinnati vs Notre Dame - Cincinnati is 3 points higher than the Fighting Irish and the line is Bearcats -1.5 (because the game is in South Bend not a neutral field). Meanwhile Ohio State is ranked 16.5 points higher than Rutgers but line is 14.5 because the game is in New Jersey. Maybe it's just me...  If Professor Hulk was real - think about how awesome he'd be at golf! Bruce Banner could instantly do the physics calculations on any shot and the Hulk would have the strength to easily drive the green on any par five. The US would never lose a Ryder Cup with him on the team. USA! USA! USA!...

Perhaps the phrase that best describes the 2020 Presidential election is, "Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad." The reason I believe this is because one side from the ultra-fringe from either the Democrats or Republicans  is definitely going to go insane when the results are finalized and their actions will destroy themselves and their cause... Jesus on Black Friday (going to hell for this)... If you watch the movie To Kill a Mockingbird backwards it is the story of a black man brought back from the dead to break up some furniture... "Loki Never Forgets an Insult" would make a great Trump 2024 campaign slogan... Periodic reminder to Steelers fans - your team lost playoff games to both Blake Bortles and Tim Tebow.. Prior to the second day of the Battle of Stirling the Scots knelt and prayed. King Edward II saw this and assumed the Scots were praying for mercy from the English. The Scots were actually praying to beg forgiveness for what they were about to do to the English...

Tom Brady is on pace for 37 TD passes this season. The Tampa Bay season record is 33. He seems like a good pick-up for the Buccaneers... No matter how many times I see this it gets me every time. What a true hero looks like... At this point CNN is just a Benny Hill theme song away from being a satire sitcom... Disappointed that calling Ben Roethlisberger "fat Thor" hasn't caught on. With the beard and beer gut the nickname certainly fits... I'm an awful person for re-posting this... Still say that Memento Mori would be a great name for a life insurance company... Little known fact but Pittsburgh, PA is a "Sister City" to Wuhan China. Just another reason to dislike the Steelers... The Jeffrey Toobin defense...

Hard not to think that this current crisis and the world's coming decoupling from China actually all started with a single Tweet from Houston Rocket's GM Daryl Morey in support of Hong Kong... "Watch establishment opinion on reopening change in a hurry once journalists and government workers are losing their jobs." - Glenn Reynolds... Counter-intuitive thought but now may be the perfect time to open up ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) to oil drilling. Hear me out - can we all agree that energy independence is vital for the US economy? Bill Clinton said he wouldn't do it because it would take five years for those fields to be productive. Well in five years Donald Trump will be leaving office and there's no guarantee that the next occupant of the White House won't give away the store. So drill baby drill now... "Everyone keeps quoting 'experts.' George Washington relied on expert medical advice also and they bled him to death." - Jame Altucher... A reminder but 10-years ago at the NFL Draft the crowd chanted "She said NO. She said NO" every time the Pittsburgh Steelers went to make a draft pick in response to Ben Roethlisberger's off-field allegations... I'm all for opening parks, beaches, golf courses, beer gardens, and outdoor Tiki bars. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Let's get people outside in the fresh air and sunlight...

If I had three wishes from a genie my first would to have the exact same hoax but instead of Jussie Smollett as the "victim" it would be Roger Goodell. (I have a strange sense of humor)... The German remake of Kids in the Hall looks woke as fuck!... Evidence of society getting lazier; in the 1950's it was called "pornographic movies", in the 70's shortened to "porno's", today just "porn". In 20-years it will be just "p"... Not all heroes wear capes... I get the sneaking suspicion that now that the Steelers have let Le'Veon Bell walk as a free agent, they will first trade Antonio Brown, and then just before training camp Ben Roethlisberger will decide he wants to retire. Somehow that's the way I think things will work out...  Finally some information from the Internet you can actually use - How much boobs weigh in animal terms... Raiders of the Lost Ark is now considered a classic? Man that makes me feel old...

Periodic reminder to Steelers fans - your team lost playoffs games to both Blake Bortles and Tim Tebow... Talk about being consistent... Every time I'm tempted to give a Nobel Prize winner too much credit I remind myself that former Enron adviser Paul Krugman won one for economics and that Yasser Arafat won a Nobel Peace Prize...  Heh heh - Run, Tommy Run... Still on the fence about President Trump but if he were to name Alice Cooper US Poet Laureate that might put me over the top...  Remember - until you pin me Festivus is not over!

Because kids don't know any history these days - they probably think "the erection of the Berlin Wall" is something dirty... I find this kind of monitoring by the government just plain scary... Snake Plissken? I thought that guy was dead!... The word "alamo" is Spanish for the cottonwood tree. "Remember the Cottonwood!" just doesn't have the same ring as a rallying cry though... This is funny - well because I don't like Steelers fans... If I were a mad scientist - I'd cross a bunny rabbit with a duck for no better reason than because I could do it and because I think this rabbit-duck would look cool floating on a pond. No I haven't been drinking - why do you ask?... Who cares? I'm guessing that Fitzpatrick having made much more money in his career than Aikman did in his bothers Aikman even if he'd never admit it...

People are falling for this Trump Troll Tweet by saying its happened a bunch of times the last 100-years (some even including every quarter its happened). Trump then gets to point out that if it's so common - how come it never happened when Obama was in charge? And please nobody is buying that we are simply living in a continuation of the Obama Economy... It think this is an important message about the courage to do the right thing... OK I'll say it! Aaron Rogers was able to come back last night because of "pliability". All the best QB's are doing it... Speaking of Aaron Rogers - I think the one thing I learned from the first NFL Sunday is that Rogers is OK with people thinking his agent is a douchebag... Rest in peace comic actor Bill Daily who is best remembered as Bob Newhart's neighbor Howard Borden on The Bob Newhart Show and as Major Healey on I Dream of Jeannie... After the tie with the Browns it might be a good time to remind people that Pittsburgh led the NFL with the number of broken tackles allowed last season. This isn't Dick LeBeau's Steeler defense anymore... This message on courage stands alone but also goes hand-in-glove with the message I linked to above...

This is going to put Match.com out of business... Just a reminder that one of the reasons the Broncos ran Josh McDaniels out of Denver was because he traded clubhouse cancer Jay Cutler... Sex Melon - band name or hipster cocktail?... I love the fact that Steelers fans have to live with the fact that Tim Tebow beat them in the playoffs...

A lot of new movies and shows coming to Netflix in November. And a lot of movies and shows are being taken out of the library including favorites Serenity and Broadcast News. Plan your day accordingly... Fan favorite Kevin Youkilis has decided to retire. The Greek God of Walks saw 292 3-0 counts in his career (according to MLB Stats) and never swung at a single one of those pitches... 36-years ago yesterday the single greatest holiday episode of any show ever aired. As God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly... I have to wonder if Youkilis will spend part of his retirement taking the wife to follow brother-in-law Tom Brady's games on the road. My mind can easily picture Youkilis in a Winnebago... Heh heh - "Draw me like one of your French girls"... Can't stop thinking that in the next Avengers movie they are in effect fighting the Fox Sports robot... Very interesting story - the gentleman thief of Venice... The Steelers are retiring Mean Joe Greene's number this Sunday. How is it possible his number hasn't been retired already?... Speaking of Kevin Youkilis' brother-in-law, last Sunday Brady accomplished something only one QB in NFL history had previously accomplished. Brady had 85 percent completions (30-35), over 350 yards passing and 5 TD's with no INT's. The only other QB to accomplish this? Tom Brady... Interesting - India holds more gold than the governments of the US, Germany and Switzerland combined...
