Pfizer's Vaccine Immunity Wears Off After Two Months

Two recent studies demonstrate that the immunological protection provided by two doses of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine wears off after about two months.

The initial headlines from the Israeli study were about how they found that previously infected patients had superior immunity than two-dose vaccine recipients but this aspect seems more important to me.. 

Wasn't there also a recent study showing the Pfizer vaccine was only 42% effective against the Delta Variant?
