I'll be pissed if Joe Torre tries to sneak Mike Mussina and his 4.58 ERA onto the All-Star squad. The would make a travshamockery of the whole process... The Devil Rays won another one! They are now just one win away from being at .500 for the season. I wonder if they have ever been at .500 this late in the season?... The Devil Rays have a better record than the Atlanta Braves and the Seattle Mariners. Who could have called that one?... OK - here's a prediction - the Royals finally trade Carlos Beltran and then they get hot and make it back into the hunt for the division title before falling just short... Barry Bonds is a (blank)... Bartolo Colon pitched great in last night's win over the A's. He only gave up one run in seven plus innings. Someone must have bet him a cake before the game... I can't think of a single member of the Expos that really deserves to go to the All-Star game... Paul Wilson lost his first game of the season last night and is now 7-1... Aaron Miles of the Rockies continues to make a strong case for NL ROY. Miles is hitting .322 for the season (I would also like to point out that I may have been the only person in the country who picked him as my pre-season ROY)... OK - how many finished the sentence "Barry Bonds is a (blank)" by saying "prick (or asshole)"? How many said "great hitter"? That's his legacy in a nutshell...
