In baseball - what is harder to get - a base hit or an RBI?

I think most people would agree that an RBI is harder to come by. (There are a number of players who get 200 hits in a season every year but nobody has ever had 200 RBI in a season.)

Consider this: As of today - Wade Boggs has 530 more hits than Fred McGriff but McGriff has 532 more RBI than Wade Boggs.
