Presidential Odds

For the longest time Bush and Kerry were dead even at -$120 (bet $120 to win $100 with $20 vig going to the house) but now the odds have shifted back to make Bush the favorite.

When I first started tracking these odds - Bush was a pretty heavy favorite (about -$150 to plus $110 for Kerry). As the DNC approached - the odds began to shrink until they drew dead-even. They stayed that way for about a month but now Bush is again the favorite at -$130 (you have to bet $130 to win $100) vs. Kerry at -$110 (bet $110 to win $100).

My guess is that as the RNC approaches - Bush will become more and more of a favorite and eventually get back to -$150. So my suggestion is if you want Bush to win - bet someone you know who will give you even money. If you think Kerry will win - place your bet with a casino (or offshore bookie) because the payout for you will be greater.
