Not sure about you but I'm getting some sort of 404 error message when I try to go to SportsJournalists.com... OK I grant that the Orlando Carbrera era is not off to a roaring start but I feel good about it. Give it time. It looks like Orlando has already become part of the team based upon the dugout reactions and interactions I saw yesterday... Chicago Cub fans are going to LOVE Nomar. I predict at least 10 HR from Nomar for the rest of the season... Nicolas Cage got married for the third time. This time the 40-year old Cage married a 20-year old sushi waitress. Yup - this has "long-term" written all over it... I understand that many Dodger fans are not happy with Paul DePodesta's trade deadline moves. WTF? Sure the baseball tonight ex-players all bemoan the fact that a team leader like Paul Lo Duca was moved and that losing Mota hurts the bullpen but this is a much more talented team and deeper team today than it was 3-days ago. The moves almost guarantee that the Dodgers win the NL West. What's not to like?... The Twins have a pretty good lead in the AL Central but I would still be worried about the Indians if I were them... This may be strange but one of the things that I'll be rooting for over the final third of the season is for Craig Biggio to hit better than .300. Right now he's at .299 and I just feel compelled to root for a good guy like Biggio (who has had only four .300+ seasons in his 17-year career)... .Here's some good information regarding the Orange Terror Alert. I also keep thinking back to those Iranian "diplomats" who well expelled for "casing" targets in NYC including the Holland Tunnel....
