Hollywood is remaking the 1972 classic The Poseiden Adventure... Giving hope to all bloggers and operators of fan sites everywhere! Congrats to Steve Silva!... Jose Cruz Jr. of Tampa Bay has quietly been one of the hottest hitters in MLB over the past week hitting .474 ( 9/19) with 2 HR and 10 RBI... Steve Silva's deal with Boston.com is probably even better than Bill Simmons' deal that brought him to ESPN.com (the first time around) because Boston.com BOUGHT Silva's site (whereas Simmons was basically just a contractor for Digital City Boston and had nothing to sell but his skill as a humorist/writer/sports guy)... One of life's great mysteries has to be how a simple piece of white bread placed in with a batch of home-made chocolate chip cookies can keep the cookies from going stale in the cookie jar... Jake Peavy is put on DL by Padres - I hope it's nothing much to worry about (I have Peavy on two Fantasy teams)..
