Some morning thoughts while I brew the coffee....

Well no repeat champion at the WSOP this year - Chris Moneymaker busts on the first day... The word for today is "billingsgate" - I try to keep this blog an intelligent yet adult site without turning it into a virtual billingsgate.... Time to start talking about Manny Ramirez possibly winning the triple crown this year. Manny is currently 2nd in batting average (.358), tied for 2nd in HR (11), and tied for 13th in RBI (29 is only 5 less than the leader though)... Do you think George Steinbrenner has been bugging Joe Torre about dropping Derek Jeter from the 2 hole in the order?... Ever wonder what Kirk Cameron is up to these days? Me neither but I did happen upon this link. You have to love a site that has a "Good Person Test" and "Another Interview with God" (I must have missed the first one - was it on 20/20?). When I finished taking the "Good Person Test" - the text said that I had angered God (and at the top of the screen was a photo of Kirk with an orangutan - no I'm not making this up). They say that Saint Augustine did something very bad when he was young and his guilt is what turned him to Christianity. I wonder if what Saint Augustine did was worse than Growing Pains?... Don't feel too bad for Chris Moneymaker - he did win $2.5 million in last year's WSOP and just before this year's WSOP he won $21,000 by coming in 10th place in the Pot-Limit Omaha event (the winner got $500,000)... The Cheers episode where Cliff goes on Jeopardy has to be one of the top 5 Cheers episodes of all-time...
